  Francis Walker from Asset Property Sales and Management is NOT a man to be trusted.
  
  I was informed via email threads that the property I had made an offer on was accepted by the Vendors. As part of this agreement, he was to take down the property from the market and to cancel future open for inspection times.
  
  I was asked to transfer a holding deposit of $1000.00, which I promptly obliged, and asked him for the signed contract of sale from the Vendors. He completely ignored my multiple requests for this document.
  
  I was extremely surprised and confused when I saw him handing out section 32’s and accepting email offers from other buyers on the open house inspection (Francis made the excuse that I had a 3 day cooling off period which is why he had to open the house - even when he initially said he would cancel it).
  
  Long story short, I got an email (not even a call) from him 48 hours later stating that other buyers had put a much higher offer than my one - Not surprising as he would have used my offer as a bargaining tool!
  
  I called him straight away to discuss the situation. He was rude and unapologetic stating that the vendors had not signed the contract of sale so it was not legit. He had basically mislead me into believing that the contract of sale was signed and the house was mine.
  Note : Frances had at least 48 hours to get the contract of sale signed before the open house inspection. He gave no excuse as to why he did not get the vendors to sign the contract nor as to why he mislead or lied to me. He basically shrugged me off as he had now received better price for the house he initially said was mine. This explained why he was ignoring my messages to send me the signed contract.
  
  I was devastated (and still am) as I am a first home buyer and have been looking for a property to call my own for 1 year now. It is hard enough to find an affordable house to call my home without having to deal with dishonest real estate agents using us and playing with our emotions. This experience has placed an additional stress to my journey.
  
  I warn you - DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN - He may seem like a friendly and caring man initially, but he is really a lying, cunning and unprofessional man who lacks integrity and is only interested in putting money in his own pockets at your expense.
